Gloria Luca (b. 1988, Iaşi, Romania) is a visual artist who works between Iaşi and Madrid. In 2023, Gloria was a resident researcher in the Connective Tissue training program in Artistic Research Practices, Critical Museology, and Cultural Studies run by the Study Centre of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid. In 2019, she also completed the Critical Images Post-master Course from the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm.

Gloria’s work has been exhibited in venues such as the White Cuib Gallery, Cluj (2023); Museum of Natural History of Crete, Heraklion (2022); Museu de l’Empordà, Figueres, Spain (2021); The Art Building in Vrå, Denmark (2020); Le Beffroi Cultural Centre, Montrouge, France (2019); KulturKontakt Austria, Vienna (2018); Art Encounters Foundation, Timişoara (2018); the National Gallery – Trade Fair Palace, Prague (2015). In the context of an Erasmus Placement Grant, Gloria worked together with the Spanish artist Daniel García Andújar on Glossarĭum, a monumental piece that was exhibited in Operating System, Curator Manuel Borja-Villel, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid (2015).

Gloria Luca is also the author of Dan Perjovschi: The Horizontal Newspaper – A School of Text and Image, a book released by Curtea Veche Publishing and launched for the first time in the frame of Dan Perjovschi's participation at Documenta Fifteen in Kassel, Germany (2022).
